In this article we want to show you how to resolder the chip on the card in the Epson printers
Rule number one - the printer must be ALREADY PASS INITIALIZATION! Do not solder the absolutely new printer.
R290,T50,T59,P50,P59 and others… We show you all soldering on an example on the Epson T50.
You've disassembled the printer and got to the board (Figure 1)
Figure 1
You will work with the chip (Figure 2)
Figure 2
Warms chip across its area (Figure 3)
Figure 3
Heat the foot of the chip in the one side, at the same time raise this edge (Figure 4)
Figure 4
Also do this with another side and put the chip aside (Figure 5, 6, 7)
Figure 5
Figure 6
Figure 7
The tracks must be restored. For this you need a new solder spread along the tracks (Figure 8).
Figure 8
As a result, you should get the straight track without connecting with each other (рисунок 9).
Figure 9
Put the chip on it place, align it (Figure 10). The heat gun set on a small stream of air, snug down one side (Figure 11).
Figure 10
Figure 11
Once you snug down one side, you need to increase the airflow and begin to solder while pressing the chip
(Figure 12). The same way you need to solder another side.
Figure 12
As a result, you should get this (Figure 13).

Please note that the soldering need to be accurate and the paths have been separated!
Please note that the ribbon cable that goes to the CSIC hasn't been connected!
