Recovery, refilling and repair of Panasonic KX-FAD412A cartridge for KX-MB1900 / 2000
In this article we will discuss how to handle with the Panasonic KX-FAD412 drum cartridge.
It's no secret that with a simple filling or filling the toner into a tube after a short time the cartridge start to print with the defects. The most common defects are: the strong background, the line along the paper, the comb along the edges of the sheet.
The strong background is result of debris in the toner hoppe. Since the cartridge doesn't have a separate compartment under the refinement and pumped toner back into the cartridge (that was't transferred onto the paper from the opc drum), then after a while there will be not so many toner, but there was a paper dust and the debris. Sollution: disassemble the cartridges and clean all components, including the supply roler, the transfer roller and the lattice of the transfer roller.
The typical comb at the edges of the sheet or repeating for four times the same defect as strips or bars on the sheet - a fault of opc. Solution: replacement.
Long straight lines parallel to the long side of the paper have two causes. The first one, the saw-cut around the circumference of the toner supply roller, the secon is in the - dent or debris on thedoctor blade. Solution: cleaning, and if it not help then you need to replace it.
That was the theory, now the practice in the picture.
